Pumpkin Doughnuts with a Maple, Browned Butter Frosting. Talk about a fall festive recipe! I’m always looking for a good recipe to use my doughnut pan and this one definitely did not disappoint. The doughnut is delicious and soft and the browned butter frosting is a really nice compliment to the cake. I honestly loved the doughnuts without the frosting – I kept a few plain to have with coffee in the morning…such a treat! When you are working with the frosting, you might find that it works best when you continue to keep the frosting over low heat and whisk in between ‘dunking’. Dunk away and enjoy!
