Last week we had time off so we spent three nights in Paris. It was unbelievable to be there! We are so lucky that we are able to travel to these incredible cities so easily. For this trip we used airbnb – we rented this apartment in Montmartre and it was fantastic. Simple, clean, private, and the host was great. It was an awesome experience staying in a true French apartment. I really, really loved the neighborhood and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.
Our first stop was the Eiffel Tower which is super touristy but I couldn’t wait. The weather was perfect- sunny, and blue skies. We waited around to see it lit up at night and then went for a great dinner. The next day we walked miles and miles…browsed the Louvre, the Pont de Arts, visited Notre Dame, took a ride on the Grande Roue, and walked up the Champs-Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe. We ended a couple of nights with a most delicious baguette, meat, cheese, and wine for dinner. When in Paris, right? The baguettes are absolutely 1 million times better in Paris than anywhere else.
I hope you enjoy the photos from Day 1 & 2 of our Parisian adventure!
