Finally being able to unpack, I found my waffle maker that my Grandma gave me years ago. I have many memories of staying overnight at my Grandma’s and waking up to the smell of fresh waffles being made. We would have them with berries, syrup, whip cream…sometimes all of them at once. This Homemade Belgian Waffles recipe is so simple and can be made with staples that are usually in everyone’s kitchen cabinet. This recipe reminds me of insanely good homemade pancake recipe which is also so easy to put together and tastes just like a mix.
I topped my waffles with fresh strawberries and of course, real Vermont Maple Syrup. At a Vermont wedding we went to in August the place cards we tied around these adorable mini VT shaped Maple Syrups – love it!!
